How we handled the search – we focused on contacting potential candidates from Consultancy businesses focused in audit within the FS sector. We had an extensive search resulting eventually in finding a consultant who was a passive seeker who was offered and accepted the opportunity

Outline– This new and innovative business has become a major disruptor in their sector. They were looking for their first CFO in line with their short and medium term objective to continue attracting investment. The brief was to find a qualified professional who had the relevant experience in an SME environment coupled with relationship building skills needed for both internal and external stakeholders.

How we handled the search – we focused on looking for candidates who would be the right cultural fit in addition to the professional credentials gained in similar sized businesses . Our search incorporated a mix of traditional headhunting in addition to reaching out through the relevant social media channels and job boards.
